PM's can be a very false economy for many "stackers" and I will try and explain the mentality and culture.
I get it everyone wants to be rich and wants to wake up one day where gold or silver has gone to the moon, they are millionaires and can tell their boss to stick their job.
The reality of PM's  most people holding can't afford to hold enough for it to be really life changing in the real world so they have to manufacture and dream up moon scenarios and thats why they are attracted to the man on YouTube telling them it will.
Not saying it wont....However,  look at whats happened to rent, mortgage payments aka cost of living in the last 2-3 years,  has your stack gone up so much it can cover this, and remember theres no yield with PM's?
Gold is just being re valued and adjusting to real world effects of inflation, QE and geo politics.
Question for you how much per oz will gold have to get to  clear 100% of your debt or buy you a house etc this is different for everyone ?      10k per oz 100k per oz?  I'm telling you for a fact if gold is 100k per oz,  I'd worry more about being  able to afford a loaf of bread.
Gold has been a good store of wealth for the last 5000 years and I can't see anything changing in the short term.

I see a bonkers mentality from some people once they start to hold PM's they wish for a moon or great reset scenario,  this is akin to setting your house on fire for the insurance payout.

    It happens with cars.
When Lotus launched the Emira the price was considerably less than when it went on sale. Buyers had the option of pulling out and getting their deposit back which many did as the price rose steeply.
i would have thought that somewhere in the small print the Royal Mint would have a clause that if Gold prices rose sharply then so would the supplied price to dealers.

Iceni, Gold Quarter Stater, Irstead ‘Smiler’ Type, circa 65-45 BC.  Really small, but really interesting.
Obv. Branch above square, Rev. Stepping horse facing right, pellet in ring below. S430
The Iceni were based in what is now East Anglia.

    That's a big boy isn't it! Lovely.
Few **** ups with Royal Mail but finally got these this morning. Photos don't do the 89 any justice as it's absolutely mint so very happy with that as I've wanted one for a very long time.
Also, matte sovereigns are incredible. Think they're definitely something you need to see in real life to appreciate how lovely they are.
