I just received my 2 oz. silver Lion of England.  An absolutely perfect coin as far as they eye can see.  I'm sort of shocked.  Even the capsule was intact!

The problem is that the RM will never guarantee you a perfect 70 coin with zero blemishes.  While they should strive for perfection, they don't.  QC is almost non-existent because of the sheer volume of their productions.  It's strike the coins, very quick inspection for obvious blemishes, stick it in a capsule, and then it's out the door.  As you are seeing, there is a very good chance that a replacement will be just as blemished or even worse.  If any mark is visible to the naked eye and it bothers you, ask for a replacement.  I think that expecting perfection may be a thing of the past.

As I have been universally called a jackass, this coin is a must for me!

OMG, this is awful!  I feel bad for you.  The RM simply does not learn....or care.  This is why I no longer buy coins directly from them.  Being in the U.S., that would prove to be a real hassle returning coins to them.
When I order coins from a dealer, I kindly ask them to please inspect them prior to shipment, and I cite all the RM QC issues.  They seem to understand and do comply with my request.

Just collected my replacement 5oz silver gothic portrait... and it has a clearly visible dent in the field on the reverse.
Also got my replacement 5oz Henry VII coin... which has a really obvious mark on the matte field of the King's side.
Third time lucky? This is getting rather onerous now 🙄

So does my proctologist.  As a matter of fact, I may use his latex gloves.

The box for the 2 oz. silver Henry VII is also bigger and glossier than for the 1 oz.  Nice presentation.

I managed to miss out on the Henry VII completely, but I can see from pictures that the black glossy box for the 2 Oz silver is quite nice.
Howevet I can’t imagine the storage issues with having 21 of them.
The RM should have given people a continuity option and provided a single big box with 21 slots for the entire series.

Shows you how much you guys are worth to the RM!  Next time, tell them that you are Anne Jessopp's consort and you'll get showered with calls offering you every coin (and other things) you can imagine!

Maybe the RM found some QC issues with their confirmation e-mails and are holding them back so customers don't return them for exchanges!

Same here in the U.S.  The flippers have their bots oiled up!  The U.S. Mint has just done something to frustrate the flippers a bit.  The coins are now pre-order with a HHL of 1 for the first 24 hours.  The coins get shipped months down the road.  This frustrates the flippers and is a boon for the collectors.  The Mint just had a release of a colorized Purple Heart silver dollar.  The mintage was 25K and the coin was readily available to anyone who wanted one for 24 hours.  Then, after the HHL was lifted, the remaining inventory sold out in seconds.
