No problem at all, it's Slovakia.

I truly believe that tourism is going to take off in north Slovakia over the next 10 years.

Great hiking, superb skiing, €1 half litre beers etc etc.

We'll be buying in Slovak Paradise (Slovensky Raj) which is stunning.

    Hiya Roy,

    Yes, in my wife's homeland.

We have mom & dad there along with a huge family. Luckily, dad is a plumber / handyman/ ex policeman who knows everybody and is very good at building etc.

The house would be for our & family use only, and her mom & dad have already agreed to look after it.

Plan is to buy close to the national park, so family can use as a hiking base or weekend getaway.

£50K should buy a decent 3 bed with land, probably need work but we have that covered.

Just need to crunch the numbers and start saving!!!!

£ being weak against the euro doesn't help matters [emoji1]

Yes, I have been paying into mine for 23 years now.
Since I have more expendable money lately, I have been increasing my contribution by 1% each year and am now at 5% with a 2% employer contribution.
I'll continue increasing until I'm at 8% which will be 3 years.
I believe in 2019, my employer will be required to increase to 3%, giving me an 11% overall contribution plus government money.
We are also currently costing up buying a property in Eastern Europe to diversify.
And my metals will just sit there too now, I'm unlikely to add to them unless there is a significant downturn in price.

Hey buddy, good to speak to you again.
No buddy, I actually bought it on eBay - went to see it and did a deal with him. He had it from there though. It’s a great van, biggest enjoyment is the wet heating 😄
Just set up, and now sat with a beer while the little one is on the play area.
Hopefully our paths cross one day 👍
When is the first outing then pal?

    Well done buddy.
I bought one in September and we have been away about 10 times since. Love it.
Just packing to go away now actually, can’t wait to get there.
Towing is nerve racking but you’ll get used to it mate, every time you tow lol.
Anything you need to know, give me a shout. As always, I have researched to death and know pretty much everything 😄

    Good shout Pete.

It's practically impossible to tell genuine airtites from pictures, so I'd only be buying from a trusted vendor.

Lucky Klacey is looking into it for us, possible group buy.

Today I bought a 2002 Britannia to complete my 2nd (and last) full date runs of Britannias.

Also bought a lunar series 1 rat / mouse. That's my third, and have a deal going for 2 more. That puts me nearly half way there!!!

Just sold a few bits and bobs on eBay so have £350 to drop on silver next week.

Probably will complete my date runs of fiji taku, Noah's arks, and philharmonic. There are a few others I fancy too.

    I am worried.
I'm only 37 so have time on my side. I have been paying into a pension (as has my employer) for 20 years now.
Over the last few years I have been increasing my contribution by 0.5% a year so am now at 4% and 2% employer (soon to be 3% employer).
I also own half a house, and I plan to have lots of silver to sell when I need to.
    I'm still worried though.

I have used the Hagerty dry wipes before and they removed milk spots on an old maple.

Nothing visible under a loupe either.

You also have to factor in the hassle factor.

With gold, you can usually walk somewhere local and get 98% for gold, or thereabouts.

With silver, you need to take photos, list it on eBay, wait 7-10 days, wait for payment, package and then ship, then hope you don't get stiffed by the buyer.

Granted, that effort will get you at least 40-50% over spot after fees and postage, but you probably already paid 25-30% over spot in the first place.

In that instance, gold certainly wins favour in my book.

Snap, same here and for the same reason.

One reason I'd add, is milk spots. They have made me very wary of semi-numi silver, as I have been burned numerous times now.
