All you need to do is pay online for your postage and they'll collect it for nowt .......
Saves trips to the post office, i've used this before when only posting 1 item which is normally 60p and its dead easy...

Absolutely Flawless - 2008 Gold Proof £1 Coat of Arms   An auction success brought this pristine specimen to me for spot including delivery. The early bid catches the worm.   Also included was the original invoice, showing that 14 years ago the Royal Mint were selling new proof issues at 62% over spot, compared with about 70% today.   The condition is quite sublime...even dust particles fear to tread.   This familiar (to those who have attained puberty) design is that of the inaugural 1983 £1, but one of just two auric appearances.

Interesting 1871 Victoria Shield Sovereign 1 Over 1? Die Number 25
The first "1" in the date has a die crack running from its top right, which is mildly interesting but not too unusual, but at the bottom left there seems to be a mis-placed "1" which has been overstruck.

It could be just another die crack, which would be disappointing.

Actually the more you try to convince the more you will come across as a used car salesman lol. Imagine her telling you about this great opportunity you know nothing about or understand? Would you listen?
Simply leave her with a few thoughts. 
Gold has done really well over the last x amount of years. 
What other commodity can you buy ,but are technically just getting the retail experience for free (spot price depending of course)
We are not spending anything but simply taking digits on a screen and replacing it with something physical of value. Moving money from A to B
Yes gold can drop any minute of most days but long-term it should climb... your digits on a screen may always stay the same.. but they are loosing purchasing power every minute of everyday.
Failing all of the above..promise a handbag for every 1oz purchased 😅😅

25th Anniversary 2018 5oz Gilded Silver Kangaroo   This stunning 5 ozzer was released by the Royal Australian Mint as one of three addenda to the Kangaroo series, the other two being the 3oz Roobar and the BU F15 Silver 1oz version of the Summer "Seasons Change" series.   The mintage is generally accepted to be 1,993 but - probably due to the prohibitively high issue price - a mere 1,022 were actually sold. I tracked my quarry down in Oz, from where @CoinStruck once again played a blinder in arranging delivery to the UK.   As many will be aware, heavier silver coins have an attraction all of their own. This one is a true joy and none of the photos come close to doing it justice.
