  2. Yeah PCE 13.30 UK time. Likely to see a bit of volatility at the time. Beware of slippage and price spiking up/down anyone trading 2 useful links for monitoring news events (both free no need to sign up) https://tradingeconomics.com/calendar https://www.forexfactory.com/calendar
  3. Have your notification settings somehow changed? That happened to me once, and I got the opposite result with hundreds of emails everyday, until I realised my settings were different.

  5. Agree and i think so too...i also think all coin issues will be mainly for commemorative purpose in future, coz as u said, contactless payment is major and preferred payment mean nowadays. Maybe RM also forsee this and close down their overseas mint departure.
  6. No problem, but they're coming from alibaba so delivery won't be till late next week.
  7. Could I get a bag of full sovereigns please. PM me with details. 🧐
  8. Mid-year is usually when the £5 BU and the piedfort are released; but they had stopped the piedfort for a couple years (2020 and 2021). I hope they don’t fabricate some reason to release an SotD this year. With current gold prices and their usual SotD premiums, I can imagine them being close to the £1000 mark. Uggh!
  9. Whoa! If this is on both coins, could it be a hairline die crack? Or just a fibre stuck on there? The imperfection is too similar across both coins.
  10. I can hook you up for a quarter sov £1,862.56
  11. One half sov and I can get you a bag of pretty much anything you want.
  12. Have any of you wondered about the coins minted today and how they might be seen and graded in the future? I’m speaking about general circulation coins. 50 - 100 years from now, general circulation coins minted will be in much better condition by being less handled. With contactless now (I presume) being the most preferred method of payment and circulation coins still being minted, surely that means less wear. I may not be posting this in the right section of the forum but surely there will be more higher graded circulated coins in the future approx (2019 -2024) as I write this.

  14. Yes, agree here too. The beauty of collecting 1/4 Brits and Sovs are that the proof capsules are the same, and you can mix and match presentation boxes.
  15. I'm pretty sure the 1/4 Britannia from those years are 22mm in diameter. And that is right about the weight. So I would say your coins are correct
  16. Hi all, looking for your help. I usually only buy sovereigns but picked up a couple 1/4 oz Britannias locally as a change. From what I can find the dimensions from Royal Mint are 22.05mm diameter and 7.77g. Mine weigh approx 7.80g and 21.95mm in diameter. Is this about right for them? Could any compare? They are 2020 and 2019.
