  5. SilverAlloy if you are new to stacking, I would stick to government issued coins (U.S. ASE, UK Britannia, and Canada Maple Leaf). Those would give you much better resell value later in life....
  6. You can see some marks from the picture, there will be more. On the smaller coins sometimes you need a glass to see the marks. The cachet with these is that they have been in the Trial of The Pyx, hence any higher value
  7. The postage ( not cost) but actual postage trips would ultimately kill the machine. If you seen how some halfwits wrap parcels, well you'd be quite angry 😆
  8. Thank you very much Arian2020 ! Appreciate all the efforts and time to resolve this mystery 😀. So here what I understand from all the measurements you posted above: Outside edge thickness: 2017: 25 coins x 3.07mm each = 76.75mm 2024: 25 coins x 2.91mm each = 72.75mm Difference is: 4mm (which is about an additional 1.3 coin). That makes since now that the 2017 stack is taller than the 2024 stack! We only need to confirm with anyone else who has 2017 Britannia if their edge thickness is 3.07mm too.

    Hey there @marioc Yes still available 👍 PM incoming
  10. I am sorry. I have posted the wrong link: https://archive.is/mNtaI
  11. And there is a William IV halfcrown and a Victoria Young Head halfcrown in there. All in pretty low grade, but check the dates because they might still be worth a few quid (especially if the Victoria coin is an 1841...)
  12. Hi, If you're willing to split them, I will take one for £25 ?
  13. Having read a little about this, these are test coins that are handed around so they get scratched and sometimes even dropped so will never be perfect

    @BipolarStacker Here's good advice, a channel to follow 👍 🇧🇬
  15. Just had another look at some of your photos - that's actually quite an interesting collection of shillings, including coins of George III, George IV, Victoria, Edward VII and maybe William IV too. Nothing in particularly high grade, but certainly an interesting type set. And I noted that there are 3 1952 sixpences on the list - they won't make your fortune, but they are quite scarce and always popular with collectors. Lovely stuff! The pennies might be worth checking for certain dates and varieties too.
  16. I have a few but won’t have access to them until Monday, I will take photos to compare for you, I’m not an expert on them but I’ll do what I can 😊

    Britannias (and their derivatives produced by Royal Mint with a Sterling denomination) and sovereigns will be CGT free... depends on how much you'd be planning on selling during a tax year in the future / what successive government decisions are on CGT allowance!
  18. This is a public forum so I cannot go into much more depth. They can create whatever rules/regulations/mandates they choose - that would only apply to those who volunteer (or are tricked to volunteer) and act as if they are under their juristiction. We are all innocent until proven guilty by a jury of our peers - this hasn't changed, despite the mafia tactics of liars and bullies hiding behind sham corporations.
  19. Hi, I'll take a 2021 Koala, if you decide to split ...
