Bullion Dealers in Istanbul

GoldenDuck

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

Maybe a long shot but can anyone recommend any bullion dealers in Istanbul that are worth visiting for cheap bullion, gold or silver?

Tried looking on Google etc but was unable to have much joy.

Got a friend going on holiday out there who said they would have a look around for me if they have time.

Hope your friend knows how to spot fakes as it is a very long way to travel to argue later.
I've got a Rolex Oyster Perpetual wrist watch in a Rolex box with certificate - cost about $35 new - that's cheap.

It's a super idea.....but,

Dealing in a different language/culture

Exchange rates

Risk of robbery

Fakes

I'd rather pay 2/3% over spot to HGM and not put my friend under any stress!

I've never had much luck in Europe. UAE is not too tricky but you need @ArthGoch's knowledge here.

If you are keen on a good story, I say go for it! :)

An aside: Someone on here bought a Turkish coin and it was gorgeous. Please step forward :D

Technically, alcohol is a solution..

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

"There is no such thing as public money, there is only taxpayers' money"

Let not England forget her precedence of teaching nations how to live.
