Grading Opinions

Have a Shilling and Double Florin a Coworker randomly gave me. Planing to send in to grade at NCS. These look good to me. All the older coins I've sent in have got an MS grade. Trying to avoid ever getting a details grade. Figured I'd see if what all the UK guys think of them.

Those marks near the V in Victoria look more like a severe "graze" of some description, might be severe enough for a "details" grade. Otherwise the obverse isn't too worn but has some bad dings on the edge. The 3 lions and crown on the reverse are well worn. I think it would get 50 at best, maybe less.

The shilling is well worn, not worth the cost of grading IMO
