What is your biggest regret not buying

Recommended Posts

Any of the gold pattern sixpences - for the 1924 version I was outbid in the room at the time!. Bought by the American sat next to me who had it graded (NGC MS63) and then sold it for more than double the price a couple of years later and is now way out of reach. For the other couple of types I was also outbid or didn't have the funds at the time:(

It is very tempting to sell the whole collection to make sure I have the funds when they reappear, but that will give me a collection of just 3 coins and we all need more than 3 coins!

2017 proof Sovereign .... same as everyone else.

2014 proof silver Britannia (not the bullion type of Britannia)

2016 proof silver last round £1 coin.  Though I just spied that Westminster Collection have these at a reasonable price.

When I started stacking silver about 30 months ago. Silver spot was around £10 , not stacking any of the cheapest coinage I could get my hands on up to my max budget. Moan the stackers, your time will come!

2014 5oz proof Britannia.

Same as that ,  i  had only just started collecting and it seemed a hell of a lot of money for a coin to me at the time . So only got the one ounce . Still my favourite design.
