Stumbled upon this app called chip

It calculates how much you can afford to save, without having an impact on your day-to-day life.

Every few days, the chip app automatically transfers small amounts to your savings account.

Another cool app I found. You select the date you want to save by, how much you want to save, and if you want the amount to be taken out daily, weekly or monthly. It then withdraws this amount automatically from your bank and puts it into the savings account for the thing you are saving for.

You can also make groups and save for things.

Note this is UK based. Funds are held in a segregated Barclays Bank account.

The few reviews for the app aren't great. But I think this was just caused by a technical glitch in the app which was later fixed.
