You aren't trying to upload photos from an iPhone 7 are you? I had a similar issue, thinking that maybe the maximum size of photo needs to be increased. Will have a look.

Had a check. Upload size is set to unlimited. So not sure what is causing the issue. Will update the forum software to the latest version sometime soon which may fix this. Meanwhile workaround would be to email photo to yourself. Open on computer and then upload. If still not working, change the name and resale as a .jpg that usually fixes it.

It's all down to the orientation and the EXIF tags.  If a photo gives an error message, easiest way is to load to PC and then resave.  I just open pic in photo viewer and rotate clockwise and close.  Open again and rotate anti clockwise and close.  The picture is back to the correct orientation and also now saved correctly.

I've found taking screenshots of pictures on my phone works well, then uploading them.

That works as well.

As long as you remember to hold the iPhone in the correct orientation, then photos will upload correctly here.
