Milk spots

I have checked my silver coins from the canadian mint and found over 50 coins that are around 2 years old all in tubes have milk spots. Iv put some in my scrap box, and a few on EBay as scrap. I love silver coins and I understand you will get milk spots, but from the mint under 2 years old never opened until today correctly stored as  instructed. sorry to go on just having a moan. I will be ok later. ?

I've just moved all my coins from mint tubes into cappsules and oversise tubes that hold the capsules, when you add it up it would have bought me another couple of ounces of silver but I'm now suspicious about leaving coins in mint tubes, I noticed especially on Somalian elephants the outer coins that face the tube plastic were all discoloured and the longer you leave them the more it spreads to the others.

I have posted this a few times when Milk Spotting comes up - quick and easy fix!

As an FYI if you were interested in sending me some milky coins I would be more than happy to melt them down into some nice hand poured bars for you?

Drop me a PM if you want to talk more about it - just as an FYI I can really only offer this kind of service for 1-2 oz coins, I have to cut up the coins to fit in the kiln and the larger the coin the harder it is to do this.

Thats cool Jayboat. The biggest pours I can do at the moment are 2.5 oz at a time. Maybe I will upgrade at some point next year. Cheers!
