Gold Olympics 50p

Hey, in all fairness, bullion is generally best, but I like to mix it up with some coins I enjoy, and this is one of them. I honestly think this is going to go down as our most memorable Olympics ever. Will that translate to downstream demand for this coin? Who knows. I don't really plan to sell it anytime soon, if ever, so we shall see.

but, nobody can call a coin like this either, as previous Olympic coins have had much greater mintage, and less successful games. The London ones actually did quite well, but I was always rather bemused they chose Roman rather than Greek mythology, which was arguably more fitting.

nobody predicted the Kew Gardens gold 50p would do so well, and I think it's much nicer than that. In my humble opinion that is.
