The 5oz Wedge Tailed Eagle and 5oz koala look impressive. I decided against collecting them as I am collecting 1oz HR's but the 5oz sure do look nice. Hopefully Perth mint will come out with 2oz size HR's as I think that would be a nice size.

Today I missed 7x 2012 silver Eagles, went for a last minute bid of £114.05 plus £6.95 postage - cheaper than the same order from any bullion dealer including STG at current spot. I could have bid a little more and might well have got them. The more I think about it the more I am actually quite annoyed.

Yeah I am watching that "today I bought" thread...  Ends up as £17.29 per coin so I wouldn't have gone much higher anyway, I think it's the annoyance of finding what looked to be a bargain then being sniped in the last 30 seconds. This is being offset by realising I'd have gone over my budget, so I should probably thank the person who ended up winning

Not missed today, but spotted this on the "sold" pages of ebay.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2013-Canadian-Polar-Bear-1-1-2-oz-Silver-coin-/151338587340?pt=UK_Coins_Bullion_Bars_SM&hash=item233c7b94cc&nma=true&si=LeadH8l%252FCNj4zk6vwUC1WqibKRs%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Someone had mistakenly put up a 1.5oz Canadian Polar Bear, for "99p Buy it now or Best Offer".

The buyer obviously snapped the guys hand off on that one.

Chances are seller wont honour that one just say got losi in post and refund, had that happen a few times lol.

Yeah, I had one like that. It was a late night auction finish, and I won 4 auctions from the same seller. three phillis and a maple for a total of £62. A bargain I thought. Never turned up, When I contacted the seller, he refunded me without batting an eyelid, or querying me. I thought at the time, that the bstard was conning me.
