Copper/red spot on 1 ounce maple

GoldTaxi

Recommended Posts

Just taken delivery of a gold maple,  with what I believe to be a copper/red spot after doing a bit of digging on here. Can any one please confirm, as it's the first time iv come across them? Although they have since cleaned up quite a bit since I used bicarbonate soda which i came across on another thread.

Thanks

Not a worry gold is gold. Had it on a half Maple once.

However, shouldn't red spot only occur on those coins which use copper? Maples are .9999 after all?

Currently stacking 1/4 oz (22ct) and Sovs.

+1 the bicarb method.

Bicarbonate Soda is actually an amazing deodorant also.  A couple of fingers worth under each arm pit and your good for the day.

Will save you £100s on deodorant, sticks & sprays over your lifetime guaranteed.

Ive been using it for years
