Royal Canadian Mint - Ottawa and Winnipeg - Is there a sign on the coin where exactly minted ?

Royal Canadian Mint coins are struck either at the original facility in Ottawa, founded in 1908, or the more-recent Winnipeg facility which was built in 1980 to expand production capacity for RCM.

 

Is there a sign on the coin where exactly minted ( Ottawa or Winnipeg ) ?

Didnt know that. Then the question comes. Are both mints affected by the milkspot issue.

Exellent question, some of the RCM coins are getting milkspots and some are not (My opinion, when watching my coins)

The Winnipeg mint produces all of the circulation coins and the Ottawa mint produces all the bullion products, both commemorative and regular bullion coins.
