yes I think it is as well , its the loaf style bar  was up at £89 plus p and p I think £3  , I messaged the seller to say id be prepared to do spot price plus p and p  , turned down £62    but accepted £65 all in , ive said this until I'm blue in the face  try an offer , this seller was happy to accept my offer , and I thank the lady or gentleman for that , I pay within 30 secs of winning ,  you never know what a seller will accept , yes they will say 99% of the time that its a rude offer but I hate paying vat and premiums , this bar at atkinsons is £95 +

If you need the 1816 PF65 you can have it for whatever I will pay in fact I was thinking of you when I bid for it.

Yes www.biddr.ch coin cabinet

Didn't bother bidding on this auction, first one I've missed not buying more than I meant to!

Had a look at the catalogue and decided they wasn't anything I wanted/needed, well, that I could afford anyway:lol:

Absolutely nothing yesterday!

Not for lack of preparation - went to a live auction and the viewing beforehand, but every piece of silver or gold (sovereigns, Krugerrands) and nice pre-47 silver went for just above my target prices

feel your pain, it's happened to me many times. Why, oh why do some people pay too much!?

Just ordered a 2014 5oz proof Britannia , always regretted not getting one on release and have managed to get one for release price. My biggest purchase ever by far but a bargain at that price

Id quite like one too

Just shy of 400 delivered. Haven't got it my hands yet . I'd almost given up on getting one as they were out of my range but this was advertised incorrectly with the wrong photos , I emailed them and pointed out that the photos didn't match the description and they emailed me the correct photos so I snatched it up . It's actually from a coin dealer not eBay and they say it's fdc so fingers crossed it's mint. It's on 10 days approval anyway if not.

Wow that's a fantastic price, if it's perfect you want to flip it to me for £500?

Let me think about that ... Erm no !  I know the sensible thing to do would be to flip it but like I say it's the one that I've always been on the look out for , so I think this will be staying with me for a good while yet , that's presuming of course they don't realise what it's really worth before they ship it to me .

why? You want one and you've just managed to buy one at a cheap price. If you liquidate it, you'll probably have to pay full whack for another.

Because although it's a very good price that's still one hell of a lot of money to me , especially when I think the potential profit in that would pay for my part of the group order this month and also even though I've never sold a coin in my life I justify my spending to my Mrs by telling her I can make money on that !

Anyway hopefully it's in good condition and it won't be going anywhere.
