What do you guys think of this coin?

 

I don't have a spare €1k at the moment, but this does look nice. From the photo it looks much nicer than the silver version.

What does it look like in real life? The stock photos of them never really convinced me to buy one, the silver one doesn't look that interesting in stock photos. Whereas this gold one does.

Maybe you can upload a pic in the silver forum of your silver buffalo.

I must admit this is my all time favourite Gold 1oz coin closely followed by the Somali Elephants.

 

I have a 1oz Gold panda which is lovely as well but damn you don`t seem to get much for your money.

Do the gold pandas come in capsules?

Is it only the Perth Mint gold 1oz coins that come in capsules do you know?

No capsule does seem mean - but they are cheap enough on eBay - the capsules I mean lol

 

Great Coin, though I also like Pandas. Don't own either yet - I'm still in "Rule Britannia" mode at present!  :-)

I got a silver buffalo and a gold one too. The gold one's real nice but the silver one is run of the mill.

My fav gold coins are still the the new Brits though.
