As title really. Looking to purchase one Gold Sovereign as a gift for someone.

Not fussed about fancy packaging/boxes, etc (other than a capsule maybe).

Atkinsons look to be the cheapest at the moment buddy.

Look for a proof sovereign if you are gifting as it will most probably be in a capsule.

A proof is stunning compared to a bullion coin.

Alternatively buy a new coin like 2014 because they have a very high lustre.

Atkinsons is a good start.

Malcolm Ellis sells proofs at about 8% above spot.

Atkinsons typically 4 or 5% above spot for bullion so maybe for the difference give a call to Malcolm.

If you're getting a bullion sov from Atkinsons you might as well get a capsule from them too otherwise it'll come in a bag.

Or you could find a nice year on an older one.

If you are interested in the rarer Australian minted sovereigns with the p m or s (Perth, Melbourne or Sydney) mint marks I know a good guy over there who would certainly give you a fair deal, and I expect would be happy to ship to the UK. I have done several deals with him in the past.

Cant rely on condition of what youd get from HGM,could look like its just gone through a car crusher.

Want one as a gift Atkinsons for me,no postage a 2016 new will be perfect condition but as said above order capsule as well.
