Happy Days for Timber Wolf

Pete

Recommended Posts

The Canadian Mint released a series of 6 x 1oz ( Maple sized ) coins depicting wildlife and the first coin was the Timber Wolf.

This quickly became hard to source and I just noticed Atkinsons has them listed for nearly £60 each !!

Great news if you have 'em

Even better news when the silver price starts to recover - the time to get rid of a few.

Yeah, I fancied that set but decided to only complete current sets, rather than retrospectively.

That way hopefully I can score the gains, rather than somebody else.

The timber wolves do regularly sell on eBay for sub-£30 though.

Now if I just had a roll of Rwanda Gorillas!!!!

I can get these for £36 delivered and the other 5 in series. I wonder if its worth buying like 10 of each and selling as a set.

Sets don't go so well mate, one just sold for £140ish on eBay.

I'd say separates is best.

Cheers Dan. I sometimes wonder if the best money is in those that have just been released and there's a made rush to get them. I have coins that i thought would do very well from the get go and i still have them. lol
