closed 1887M Sovereign NGC Graded MS62 Jubilee Head

Recommended Posts

Some of you may already know that I am selling some sovereigns for a friend of mine who inherited a big collection of them. We have been selling them on the open market (on eBay) and this MS62 1887M Jubilee Head has become available after a ebay timewaster won the auction.

You really cannot make these things up - the delivery address was for Death Row in a maximum security prison in Louisiana, USA and the winning bidder had only 1 feedback to date and did not pay or reply to any messages about the item. It really does amaze me some times.

So the sale was cancelled on eBay.

It achieved £380 (next highest real bidder) and we were selling via a £1 sellers fee.

My friend loves to watch the ebay items end and if this doesnt sell here we will probably put it up for auction again when we have a £1 sellers fee offer.

That said, I have convinced her to accept an off ebay price of £360 delivered (special delivery) if anyone wants it.

International buyers £365 for tracked and signed.

Payment via Banks Transfer or PayPal F&F

Let me know if you are interested!

The obverse is gorgeous.

Note: Vicks was 68 in 1887. I dig mature women, ok? ;)
