Everyone got stung on empty promises that were never delivered and I suspect never will be.

I also would be as bold to claim that surplus 800 quid doesn't exist anymore and hasn't done for a long time.

I was hoping for more of a reaction in all honesty, but obviously a lot of people think its ok to be treated like this, when they know full well that if this was anyone other than the Admin of UKSS, his or hers name would be complete mud in the community.

I have never been a member of facebook or twitter. It does seem, though, going by what you have said, you have been treated pretty shabbily, probably best to try and put it behind you and move on. All the best.

There was a load of trouble over money after the Phoenix round, a load of he said she said, there was money left over on the crowdfunded round but i believe all people involved wanted to quietly keep it, the whistle was blown when people started asking questions because the people who organised it had an abundance of rounds, the truth will never be out as both parties who split have turned out to be liars! In the end, greed and dishonesty finished the potential series of mythical creatures

Just a quick update to anyone interested;

Today someone complained that a member has left someone £450 out of pocket because he never sent the items.

The Admin of the group jumped in, deleted comments and closed commenting completely, claiming that the seller is "100 percent trusted bud"

I saw this particular seller get into silver a year ago, so how on earth in a year do you go from nothing to "100 percent trusted"

they all said the same with (name removed), the all say the same with (name removed), they all said the same with(name removed).

I honestly believe the group is now a scammers wet dream, run by scammers for scammers, so they can all back each other up when something goes wrong, and blame and shaming the victims of the bad deals - 100 percent trust status takes years to build, not given to some teenager who a year ago was asking questions about milk spots. come on. that group is the biggest scandal in the uk silver scene waiting to happen.

I had all sorts of trouble getting my 2 coins from (name removed) when he went awol.

I had help from a member here who confirmed where he lived and that he was often at home so there was no reason for him to keep ignoring me.

I was prepared to go to the small claims and he eventually did send me the coins although the extra one he promised me to "make up for my trouble and waiting" never materialised. Some people never change their spots.

I used to really enjoy it but now a bit tedious.   I’ve never known a group of admins that are so unlucky, friends dieing, family Ill one even ran over a dog and they always feel it’s right to have a collection for these people.      I’m not saying it’s a scam but I think if Harvey Weinstein was offered to do it I’d advise against it!!!

The Admin of that group have elevated themselves into a farcical position of trust, yet never deliver there promises. 2300 members with no clue about what a good deal is.

(name removed)  the main admin has PM'D me a snotty message. Apparently it "says a lot" about me to post about there scams on this forum.

yes I've never known anything quite like it either, it seems very fishy.

(name removed) was like that he scammed a lot of people I suspect the other admins started the campaign of hate against him so they could have full reign of the scamming market.

At least when (name removed) was in town the rounds got produced.

Quick update, I know not a lot of you are interested but to those that are.

Once again a promise was made that wasn't delivered, please avoid this group at all costs. all the admins are scammers.

I don't no about you but when someone promises something and doesn't deliver it really does look bad on them - no one would tolerate it in the "real" silver community, so why is it tolerated on FB. There's a hell of a lot of gullible people in that group.

I’m not really sure about who your all talking about but do know the group without looking back on your comments and probably loosing the thread altogether I’m sure one of you said it was geigier who was minting them so this is a bit that may help Martin Whitehouse who runs silver trader on e-bay and his own website by the same name now actually owns the trademark to the name now and sells there bars on his site aswell as Albion ones aswell I’m sure he would be able to find out for you if THES rounds wear ever actually minted or not and how many he is a really down to earth sort of guy and always happy to help you if he can I only been stacking a yr or so and the amount I’ve learned from him has been invaluable I think your only problem with him would be customer confidentiality but  im sure if he can’t help he will likely know a man who can

I certainly hope you are not referring to me as a scammer,  I worked hard bringing people good deals on this page when I was a member and often went out of my way to help people. I left the group for personal reasons and before doing so I ensured all or any orders I had were fulfilled.regarding the group politics i defended (name removed) at the start as he was a friend however after that I avoided the subject as facts became unclear, I NEVER had an input with the group rounds I just bought some so am in the same boat as the other members on that front.  I arranged group buys at cost which was a big effort in time to me. I no longer deal with silver as I hit my target and no longer stack. Although seeing my name against those you claim scammed people is dissapointing and a blatant lie. I have hundreds of people who would vouch for me and trust me! I recently did a sale to someone for over 2 grand through whatsapp money was sent first and then I sent the silver. That’s how trusted I am!

Did they find the owner in the end?

It’s been 5 weeks since the “admin” made a comeback, we where promised weekday updates.

5 weeks now and the only update is”not much to report”

good decent people have been “kicked” from the group, basically founding members who have more credibility than any of the admin.

the funny thing is, (name removed) who I respect massively is taking on the work of the failed admin, who once kicked him out of the group and slagged him off massively for a year and a half openly, fair play to him!

he whole group is a joke and these rounds will never be produced. We will still be getting “ no news yet” weekly updates in 3 years time guaranteed.
