Wonder how much of this is the same gold being stolen over and over again? Anything taken in the war could easily have re-entered the supply chain in time to be taken in the '83 brink's mat and that again could have been recycled in time to be stolen again last month.

Does anyone recognise the symptoms when "Gold Fever" takes hold!

Fascinating that the looted gold in WW II financed the militarisation spending. meanwhile in Great Britain we continued to run the economy into the ground by borrowing the money needed to "win" the war.
