Selling on Ebay

Hello all - as many of you know I sell my items on eBay as well as via my website and here on the forum.

I have decided to put up a couple of my larger Hallmarked "Ripple Kit Kat" bars up for sale via Auction. Bit of an experiment to see how the secondary market feels about my hand poured silver and what kind of premiums they might attract on the open auction market.

@sixgun recently pointed me to a seller that had quite a few of my earlier pieces (pre-hallmark I believe) and even with awful pictures and auctions ending at 8am in the morning on a weekday they still managed to get the equivalent of about £24/oz which is very impressive!

Nice to know that my hand poured silver is holding it's premium well - so the auctions for my two Kit Kat bars should be a fun experiment at least!

If you have some unspent eBay vouchers from unspent nectar points it might be an opportunity to pick up some of my pieces for a good price!

I also have some Shieldback sovereigns for sale on behalf of a family member who inherited them and wanted to sell them. Same deal really - if you have nectar points please feel free to have a bid on these coins.

Well I am very pleased with the little experiment tonight on some of my larger pieces of hand poured silver.

They achieved £22/oz including postage costs which is pretty good for larger pieces of silver on eBay! Nice to know that the premiums can be held on a secondary market.

Of course I lose some of this to fee's but I took advantage of £3 sellers fee offer meaning a good chunk of savings.
