I have used with success pure acetone ( not nail polish remover)  on a q-tip and gently roll the q-tip (not rub) on the coin. Let evaporate, and rince with distilled water. Let evaporate the water

Pretty much that although I'm wary or using any kind of friction, the acetone alone should remove fingerprints. Depending on how pure your acetone and water are, you may find a better finish ie without drying marks using either as the final solvent wash.

Per @Frenchie I too had to attempt to remove fingerprints from a highly polished silver proof.
I have an ultrasonic bath and used mild detergent and ammonia solution which didn't work so resorted to acetone and a q-tip.
As other have said you must never rub the surface or it can leave microscopic fine scratches that you will see using a loupe.
Just wet the spot in acetone and gently roll the q-tip then if necessary rinse in distilled water and pat dry immediately.
Acetone evaporates extremely quickly and you may have to repeat several times and if the coin was very clean to start with, the acetone should not leave any residue so rinsing isn't necessary. Ordinary tap or bottled water can leave spots or rings.

I have not tried e-Z-est dip but I did see a video where someone dipped a silver proof and had no observable damage.
