2017 Mexican Gold Libertad Proof

Hi, 

If I remember correctly, I was able to find all 2017 gold libertad proof coins at APMEX. 

Since last night, however I search their website, I can't find any. 

Can anyone guess why? I do not have a clue what they up to.

I would think they might be updating the listing in anticipation of their release.

I'm sure they had the libertads on the list in out of stock status hust few days ago. So curious. Thank you for your opinion.

 I already got one from another source and I want to check out how much the price tag would be on APMEX.

I think @Pampfan is right. Apmex creates pages for coins they don't have yet and they mark them as "Currently Out of Stock" even though the coin hasn't been offered for sale.

As I mentioned in another thread, they already have a page for the 2018 1 oz Silver Chinese Panda and show it as "Currently Out of Stock"...that coin hasn't been released by the Chinese Mint yet.

I understand that APMEX prepares the website to put the new coins up for sale.  

What I don't understand is that a few days ago I could see the 2017 libertad gold proof coins on their website although they are in 'currently out of stock ' status, but now they're all gone and I can't search them anymore. 

Isn't that a bit odd?

Same thing happened to me on Govmint.com.  SilverbytheOz on YouTube put out an alert video that Govmint.com had the 2017 Queen's Beast Unicorn of Scotland slabbed/graded PF70 by NGC for around $150.  This was just after the raw coins had been released by the Royal Mint.  I saw the video about an hour or so after he posted it, quickly jumped over to Govmint.com and nothing!  Not "Out of Stock", just nothing like they'd never existed and I've only seen one on eBay since.  So yeah, I definitely get what you're saying.  Strange they wouldn't just show "Out of Stock".
