and what is that circle on the left supposed to be? would have been better incorporating the rest of the flag in to the design instead.

and why are there radiating lines from her posterior, sun shines out of.................?:D

the designer has managed to get all the Scottish islands in but left out the south coast of England and Cornwall!

Bought the six coin set so will be interesting to see how they look in the hand.

And remember the 14 day long distance selling regulations...You have every right to return it for any reason.

Though I suspect if it sells out before the cut of point you may not want to;)

I don't like the design but I want the gold coin set as they always sell out fast and rarely on the secondary market...no more silver proofs for me...going to get interest free on it as I have 3 pietfort sovereigns to pay for this week

I've ordered the silver proof to keep my run going but it's not nice is it  .

Wish they would do a vote on the design each year , blue Peter viewers would come up with a better one than that .

Gutted really . Wouldn't have thought the 5oz will sell out quickly

Has anyone ordered the 20oz Silver PF or the 30oz Gold?

Why introduce these odd sizes? Just to commemorate the 20th/30th anniversary or in further departure of Europe and any international conventions? Previous Britannias were looking over the pond but the his one hast turned her back to Europe and America

So far the 1kg silver coin wasn't the biggest hit but a 0.933kg coin? At least it's not over £2.000 as with e.g. the beast coins...

Not sure about this one.  The "outfit" is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.  So the Irish Free State is not depicted.  Looks like a propaganda publication trying to deny that Irish Republic exists at all.   A few other islands and parts of the mainland missing too.  Certainly different.  Maybe a video from the designer will help explain.

Maybe the shape of things to come for the "new age" of coin collecting.

It's an awful design.  I'm really disappointed as I was looking forward to getting the anniversary edition for my collection.

Whoever sanctioned this design in the royal mint needs sacking!! The fool!
