Yeah the forum has changed massively over the last year or so. It’s just a race to the bottom now. I do better on eBay. There is a lot of hate for eBay on this forum but in my 2000+ sales the issues I have had are small.

TSF used to be awesome to sell on, can’t say that anymore I’m afraid.

Stop moaning! Stuff sells on here, just all you sellers trying to get rid of stuff in one go. Not everyone has the odd £1000 plus to spare regardless of how cheap this makes the individual items.

Very nice items, sure if they were sold individually they would be gone in no time

Am I not entitled to an opinion? The problem is that everyone wants dealer prices. So if you want lower prices then expect to have to buy more. 

Selling just one sovereign at £380 is hard enough on here these days.

🤔🤔Everyone entitled to an opinion, stuff does sell on here, however, sometimes there isn’t a lot of difference between dealers prices and those on here.  As I said, the stuff you have put up for sale are great, but not everyone has that much money to spend in one go. Personally, I am happy to go for a half, full or 1/10 but am not going to fork out £1000 plus for anything in the near future!  If people are paying for postage I am not sure why some sellers like yourself don’t split things. Still, sure all those Facebook and eBay buyers will love it. TSF must still be pretty good for you or you wouldn’t bother?

Maybe I just need deeper pockets! All my buys are pretty much exclusively on TSF. I’m just spent up now till the end of Feb!

In my experience the minute you ask for postage on a listing with multiple items it is almost expected that if they buy more than one item, delivery is thrown in. That’s not always possible as margins are so tight. Hence selling in larger lots at a lower premium makes more sense. 
 

If I pieced these out the price would go up or delivery would be added, making them no longer competitive in this bottomed out market.

To be brutally hoinest - it's because individual sellers are constantly competing with business sellers even if it's not intentional and the average member doesn't understand what's behind the price differences. They just look at the final number. Postage shouldn't always be included. It is seller's choice.

Lovely coins and £55.45 is a good price per gram but remember this equates to ~£405 for a 7.32g of gold sovereign. Premiums have fallen significantly recently and bullion sovereigns are so cheap at the moment compared to spot. People are tight for cash so are selling their sovereigns and the market is overloaded I think.

Its just a market lull - things will get better again and premiums will rise but its a tough time for everyone. Great that Ebay is working for you tho

It’s an average price per gram, so you can’t say the sovereign is £402 directly. Each item on this listing has a slightly different premium

People are looking for Spot Price. There are some ridiculous deals around at the moment

There was a group deal for 5 sovereigns at £1875 (£375 each) or make an offer (i.e. spot) on facebook the other day
