The New Peter Rabbit coin sold out?

BackyardBullion

Recommended Posts

I logged on to the Royal Mint this morning and bought 3 of the new Peter Rabbit Proof 50p's

I asked my dad to buy me some extras but he said after waiting for 2 hours in the queue they were sold out!

A good sign for a good investment? Anyone else struggling to get them?

When i purchased from Westminstercoins it was max 9 per household which i ordered 8..And have confirmation for..Now they have dropped the limit to 3 per household surely they can't cancel my 8 and only give me 3?

Just incase i ordered another 3 at my work address.

I'm sure the terms are subject to availability so pretty sure they can

Says they've sold out of the Rabbit proof

"The new Peter Rabbit Silver Proof 50p now is now FULLY ALLOCATED"

?

Not fussed about the rest of the series

I just rang Chards, they said they're fully allocated too

One would assume that they had a certain stock amount and once gone it was impossible to purchase though their site. Hopefully they won't have to go back to people and let them down with bad news...

It now says all gone and wont let you click to add to basket. Fingers crossed ive got 2 ordered.

Strange though... posts before mine said they were unavailable

Still don't see what all the fuss is about personally

The fuss is about the £ people can make, not what the coin looks like. I ordered 1 for my 20 month daughter for when shes older but should have ordered another to pay for the 1st so I would have been in that category.

I can understand buying for the kids but most here are trying to grab some for a flip and from what i see on eBay £200 is hyper hype, that's what I'm not getting.

I'd have the new PM Swan at €20 something euros personally

I bought 6 today, will be flipping 4 of them to pay for the remaining two and hopefully a little profit on the side too.

My strategy is to flip them to thr USA or Canada in 3-4 months time, not today or tomorrow.

Works for me...each to their own!
