NGC Grading Submissions Open

@Numistacker are there still more to arrive from December submission? Looks like only 2/5 in pic above?

Thats a seriously impressive pile of coins though! Awesome job

It can take 8-10 weeks for coins to fully go through the system so the next box will contain Jan grading early coins and December stragglers. There are more to come for December. NCS coins are always the latest.

Over 95% of the recent delivery from NGC has been sent out this morning by special delivery. Watch your mail tomorrow...

Very curious what's in the box since your YouTube channel hasn't covered my coins yet.

You definitely deserve a little treat after this weekend! BYB goes for Indian, what will be your favourite dish?

I feel a sense of accomplishment getting so many packages out the door, not sure how many but the postage bill was £300 alone. The people patiently waiting behind me in the sub post office were not so patient though they did thank me for at least apologising for the chaos I had caused...

£300 postage bill, assume an avg £7.50 per package =c40 packages, that must have been a good 20-30 mins!  Awesome job, thank you Numi

@andrewmcmann

guys, I'm really curious about this coin and just can't understand how a PF69 can become a PF70 after conservation.

ie go from "nearly imperceptible imperfections" to "no post production imperfections", bearing in mind we're talking about post production issues.

Could you humour me and tell me what you think the original problems were and what made you decide to conserve it?

appreciate it thanks.

2010 is a semi key year as is 2015 which has an overall proof mintage of only 500 per coin.

If there is any physical damage to a proof it will not be graded even a 69 - true - yes so a 69 will basically have nothing wrong with it at all just when they were grading someone noticed something superficial and surface related that stopped it getting a 70 so sometimes if the coin has the NCS treatment effectively ensuring that the surface is as good as it can be its possible the graders will then agree its a 70 - stands to reason ))

Russell, did I see you mention recently you were insuring your shipments now through the NACA? Does that mean they're covered both ways?

This would make the US service very attractive.

NACA rules mean they only insure on the way home and ONLY by FEDEX priority.
