The lion doesn't look frosted in those pictures.. I would presume the lion is going to be frosted so, bit strange

Difficult to tell without having both types together but it looks like they've just taken the BU design and made the background shiny, without increasing the detail in the lion. Very much a lazy move and a big fail IMO. Would like to see what they've done with the obverse, I notice they isn't a photo of that side on the RM advert.

The lettering, or lack of it, looks strange compared to the BU. The ring and lettering is what made the BU design so good, IMO.

£82.50 for 1 oz, sod off RM.

I think for a series coin that they have gone over the top..

about 185 - 190% spot, roughly what the proof sovereigns were in their various guises.

£82.50 for a 1oz silver proof, more like 600%

Yes, but 1oz proofs from RM are always 80quid, like the lunar series?

yes I guess so, not sure if the Brits are that much. Just had a thought as well, 20% of that is VAT.

Very disappointing for a proof. Looks like a bullion with a shiny background.

Not much cameo on the lion but who knows what the actual will be like?

Well they look like actual pictures, no sure what better ones would look like.

Ones where you could tell they're frosted, because they look plain in those photos
