Which dealers have the SOTD listed mate?

Chards and BBP both have it listed but not yet available for sale. I'd imagine Coin Connection will also have an allocation. None of these are currently selling them but must be expecting an allocation so worth keeping an eye on things.

Initially, felt I had  no chance with the SOTD with 48,000 + in front, but was surprised to find the  ‘NEW’  1/4 gold proof for £750 with a 1250 limit!! - cheaper and better for me, so grabbed one straight away…..

I totally agree - it is a superb looking coin and a better colour than the sovereign.

What the feeling what the market value will be for one of these coronation SOTD in MS70 once graded ? Hard to see too much upside with the massive RRP

£1000??? A fair guess ?

Previous year SOTD sovereigns ungraded come up for sale from time to time the last one I bought was the 2012 for £405 this January

Not sure how well the KC III coins are doing , the Memorial proofs are selling for under their original RRP on Ebay

I will wait a few months or years for a 2023 SOTD ungraded 🧐

The SotDs prior to 2017 haven’t really been as distinguished with the plain edge and matte finish. They’ve mostly been “BU” strikes and really difficult to distinguish from the Bullion Sovereigns of those years. So I’m not surprised they don’t do as well as the post-2017 SotDs.
