Lovley coin.  Glad I came on here early just got myself a half ?.

yes I think the half will do well, lowish mintage.

Probably a silly question but are they going to release it in bullion form?.

I'd be very surprised if they don't. fools in fact.

not sure what it'll look like in the usual modern finish though.

worth buying at bullion prices.

I don't know how much I like these at £430 a pop & mintage of 13,050

I suppose I could see them going up to £550-600 by next year and you wouldn't lose money of course hmm

Bit on the fence with getting one

Not overly impressed with this!

RM stuff hasn't really impressed me recently!  The beast was a good design but quality let it down. What will the quality on this one be like???

Surely it's better than a standard-year proof?  I really think this is their best coin in years - since the 2012 Sov.

This is better than 2002, 2005 and 2012 IMHO. I bought another one for good measure.

The Americans go mad for Centennial gold (so do I) and those are technically not nearly as nice and have 5 x the mintage.

I think this one will always be at a premium now and there is a growing premium for these one year designs I think.
