Today is your lucky day!

I have for sale, a very rare 2014 Canadian Maple. They didn't make many of these and this one is special because it has no milk spots!

Try to find another.

It has a picture of a Maple Leaf on the reverse and the obverse is a delightful portrait of our Queen. Quite stunning.

I wanted £475 for it but as you are a new stacker and unable to do your own research, I will let you have it for £450. Plus post of course.

Would you like some pics? I can supply a capsule too. We can come to some arrangement.

I'm pulling your leg Daniel. Welcome but please do some research of your own or you might get burnt.

Hi my fellow pirate,

Have a look at silver to go and put in 20 of what you like and pre-view check out only, don't forget postage,

To be honest I would become a premium member here, there has been some real good deals lately.

Depends on what you like/storage/and exit plan.

If it was me I would buy a tube of 20x Perth mint 1oz Roosters, comes in around your price point, premium is a little high but you always get it back when you sell.  If you wanted a few more ounces you could get 25x Britannias for £20 ish more.

I am selling two sealed rolls of 25 1oz kangaroos on the UK & Europe board for £450 delivered (works out at £18 per Oz), but as SilverPirate said you won't see it for a few days if you are not a premium member.

From silver to go, for around 20oz of silver, how much would the postage be (U.K)? Thanks.

Was looking at those, or queen's beasts, what would you recommend?

I was looking to by them next month or so, when I make my mind up :P, I think they will be sold by then! They are very popular.

In order to help you it would be worth knowing if you are joining as a newbie stacker or tender-foot collector looking for semi-numi coins ( posh way of describing higher quality coins that are supplied usually in capsules from the mint  - look at Perth Mint, Australia for example ).

If the former my advice is to go to the STG website and add a collection of coins that take your fancy until you have reached your spend including shipping.
Then try a comparison with Atkinsons.

If the latter you might want to checkout the historic sales threads on this forum and gain some knowledge before jumping in.
A good starting point for quality coins is to buy coins like Kookaburras, Pandas, and Lunar coins all supplied in capsules and look for new coins.
Avoid eBay for now.

Best of luck starting your addiction.

Hello,

I'm looking to buy around £450 in silver, what would you guys recomend me getting?

Any help is much appreactied!

Thanks :)

Have you searched this site for similar questions to yours?

There are many and contain much sound advice.

Otherwise a quick answer is, as you have indicated you are simply looking for silver bullion, buy the cheapest you can find.

Just go with what you like - you are far more likely to remain interested in your hobby which should reward you financially in the future.

I started with big coins (5oz/10oz/kilo) for the "show off" value. I then realised this was daft and that I would probably get burgled or mugged so I keep myself to myself now. I am now into buying the sealed rolls of 20 lunars. They feel good in the hand, easy to store and should do reasonably well long term. They should be around the £400 mark you are looking for. I use goldsilver.be (delivers within 3 days) but a couple of people on here have had issues so might be worth searching the forum.

Do invest in becoming a premium member for the trade section. I have obtained some great deals on very attractive coins and its far safer than ebay.

.... my final piece of advice .... get yourself a Meerkat avatar ..... they are lucky.

Currently stacking 10oz Unas and Britannia bars

My frist choice: goldsilver.be - cheapest i can find

silver-to-go.com - forum sponsor,  they charge a bit more than goldsilver, but it is still a good price.

if you want to buy cheap 1 oz silver coin, try this link http://goldsilver.be/en/84-1-oz-30-gr?orderby=price&orderway=asc

The cheapest is 18 euro. so 25*18 = 450 and shipping is 18 euro.

That's 468 euro  for 25 oz of silver coins. if 1 euro = 1 GBP, you still get the BEST deal.
