@GoldBenj do you know of any courses or "how to" sessions on jewellery or silver smithing? I feel that I am loving silversmithing more and more and I am so keen to learn - at the moment I am just learning by trial and error with some sucesses and some disasters! Appreciate the help though!

Pretty sure these little dice would raise some eyebrows by a gaming commissioner but they are bloody fun to roll around :-)

They weigh in at about 22g each (+ or -)

When I've found a little bit more time I'll give these a go too I think, something novelty about a silver dice.

I need to perfect the pour, they are tough to pour and get looking right. I have no doubt what you make will be 1 million times better!

@BackyardBullion I'll send you one so you can compare ☺ I'll try and take some photos of the process too so that hopefully you'll find an easier way too.

I presume you will cast them - I need to get myself a casting kit and give it a go - get some perfect cubes!

The ripples are nicely symmetrical and stay within confines of the top of the cube creating a just so boarder. This is a winning element.

I think if the sides of the cube where mirror finish the piece would be even more stunning.

Always cast your vote - Spoil your ballot slip. Put 'Spoilt Ballot - I do not consent.' These votes are counted. If you do not do this you are consenting to the tyranny. None of them are fit for purpose.
A tyranny relies on propaganda and force. Once the propaganda fails all that's left is force.

I agree! The symmetry is lovely and beautifully contained.

I think you'll do well. :)

Technically, alcohol is a solution..

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

Thanks my friend for the feedback! Sadly getting a high mirror finish on the sides would be hard and require sanding off quite a lot of silver!

One day I will be sand casting probably and get myself a sanding belt to get the best mirror finishes possible!

@BackyardBullion you genuinely have so much potential, bite the bullet and give sandcasting a go, you'll make a few mistakes but it's a learning process.

Thanks! Slowly I will evolve and learn new tricks! One day I hope to be at the dizzy heights of yourself!
