:) Yes, this is for myself. When Ben asked me what style I would like the ring, I wasn't sure. The idea was to create a bullion ring, as near to spot as we could. He recommended a classic 'D' shape because there would be the least wastage (filing etc.)

Finished. The ring was completed in two days, the assay took time....Cheltenham didn't help! lol

You all know I'm a soppy old tart. I'm pleased! I have a hand made, pic documented 22ct ring, and it's personal.

Made in England.

It's fantastic Ben.

Not a making job but a customer had a rather bad disagreement with her other half and decided to take a tin opener to her engagement ring and then stamped on it, here's a before and after I worked a little bit of magic.

Showed the wife this, she loved it. I knew it would strike a chord, she's a fiery one herself but has never quite gone this far:wacko:

Today I made this Silver Dice for someone to give as a wedding present to their mate!

It is not a perfect cube - and rolling it would make me pop a blood vessel but I think it is not bad if I don't say so myself!

@BackyardBullion Perhaps you should give sandcasting another try and you'll be much better mate, you'll achieve a better shape too.

Do you mean basically petrobond sand? I tried that and it was a bit of a disaster - I kept getting huge air pocket cavities in the pours as they cooled. Perhaps it is a confidence thing?

Did you make a mold from two sections and make a sprue and pour it into the mold that way? @BackyardBullion
