Today I made.....

Hello @StackemHigh

I can't say I've ever made one before but i can understand the process to make one. I could perhaps have a go at some point in the future however my workplace is getting too busy to "experiment" so to speak.

There's quite a few reasonably priced ones online to be honest..

@GoldBenj Yes my hands were very dirty and dusty when I was sanding away. Over the 6 pieces I lost about 5g in weight in silver dust - but its all mixed with the grain of the coarse sandpaper so not easy to re-use!

Thanks for the compliments on the hearts!

Any ideas how I might verify the silver content of these pours? The jewellery was 925 stamped - but you can never know for sure.

Make sure you keep it because eventually you will have a big bag, then you can get it reclaimed when you have a reasonable amount. the majority of times if jewellery is stamped 925 it is so i wouldn't worry too much. Try acid testing kits for verification or even better befriend someone with one of these..

I would like to add my comment that I too think you are seriously talented. The ideas and the execution are extremely professional. The anniversary dog tags are very special and the gold ring with the intertwining is very very good. Please let us all know if you have a xmas gift pop up shop opening for the Forum members cos I know my daughters would like something different in their gift pile.

Great videos too.

A the weekend I made.

Realise you're still learning the finer points of pouring so I don't want to come over too critical. It looks great fun and you guys do some great stuff.

I'm just curious about the rippling you seem to like and endeavour to create. Is it just something you like or do people like to buy these things?

Personally I think it makes the pours look amateurish and naff TBH, but it could be just me;)

Sorry to be critical.
