It’s a fine balance, and a long day of hard labour would not be worth it...

but a limited run of antiqued Bars within the mintage, say the first 25 at a premium price or if feasible offer punters a choice at a premium...

Sorry BYB, not trying to impose, I just like the antiqued finish ?

I would prefer to have them all the same, rather than split the mintage up into antiqued and non antiqued.

But we are not limited to only these bars so maybe there will be a special release of another silver forum branded product, minted to order.

Hello @PansPurse how do you do what ever you have done to make a coin into a ring? Bloody amazing

There's some great YouTube videos illustrating the process (working on one currently). Here's one of my favourites from a chap over in the US

Although I used a much more bare bones technique that's basically a lot of filing and hammering

Would you think that 925 silver is easier to work e.g. you don't have to heat it as many times as a 900 gold American Eagle?

Short answer; I don't know. I longer answer is it's better to be safe than sorry. I've probably been annealing more frequently than I need to. If I was working with an ounce of gold I'd be taking every precaution I could to try to prevent unwanted damage.

In terms of material, both 900 gold and 925 silver are alloyed to make them stronger so both probably also need more frequent annealing than 999 or 999.9 silver or gold.

Today I finished - it took way longer than just today to make!

49 pieces, individually hallmarked. English Oak Frame made by my Dad - truly a thing of beauty!

50 piece set is next - that one is looking even better!

Got fed up of looking for coin capsules so dusted off the 3d printer and printed a couple (with lids)

One for some half sovs (should fit around 10 plus capsules)

One of the 10oz QB (should fit around 3)

Need to print the one for one ounce brits. Will likely make them for 10 coins also.

Still need a couple of adjustments (mainly to the lids) but will suit my needs!
