Silver Britannia's + Milk Spots

I am guessing this was never a problem pre 2013 britannias. Just looking through a few older brits, preparing for my hopefully first silver/forum trade ever. They are all fine, from the 40ish  i checked, 1 of the 2005's had a little toning on an edge on 1 side, apart from that, some have lost their shine quicker than others, but no real damage to the condition. Comparing that to tube of 2015-2016 brit's makes me wish i had started stacking sooner.

It could be the way i store them. It only seems to happen to ones in tubes. Bullion in capsules are all fine, same the day i bought them except my 2015 elephants.

My tubes are stored in britannia monster boxes in a secret/hidden chest. Its 100% dark inside when closed and its only opened maybe once a month to add stuff. Everyone talks about those gel packs to get with new trainers. The wife bound to have some lying around, shes never done buying shite. I will give those a go. Apart from that, maybe everything just needs to go into caps.

The Royal Canadian Mint recently developed a method to prevent milk spots in their silver coins. It's called MintShield and is in production now. They're the only mint I know of to develop a manufacturing technology to prevent spotting. It started with either the 2018 or 2019 Maples.
