Don't know if this is the right place, but at the moment it is cheaper to buy 1/10 Gold Britannias from UK dealers that include free shipping, than it is to buy from gs.be

UK
https://www.gold.co.uk/gold-coins/gold-tenth-britannias/britannia-tenth/ £113 plus free shipping

https://atkinsonsbullion.com/gold/gold-coins/1-10oz-gold-coins/2018-uk-britannia-1-10oz-gold-coin £112.63

https://www.bullionbypost.co.uk/gold-coins/tenth-ounce-gold-coins/2018-tenth-ounce-gold-britannia/ £113 plus free shipping

GS.BE
https://goldsilver.be/en/gold/614-110-oz-gold-britannia-2018.html

£113.30 + £16 shipping

Not sure if it generally cheaper buying gold from UK due to no VAT and most dealers doing free shipping as standard, but thought it might be useful to someone. Certainly useful to me!

I'm actually tempted to buy one of those gold Britannia's every month. Was debating if I should buy a small coin monthly or a biggercoin every 2-3 months

quarters/full sovereign sharp builds up if you can afford one each month.  nice size, not too big not too small .  easy to liquidate (not too dear)

Not too sure I can spare a full sovereign a month. Maybe half or 1/10th

Several UK dealers now selling said gold coins for £112 delivered.

https://www.gold.co.uk/gold-coins/gold-tenth-britannias/britannia-tenth/ £112 delivered.

https://atkinsonsbullion.com/gold/gold-coins/1-10oz-gold-coins/2018-uk-britannia-1-10oz-gold-coin £112.07 delivered.

https://www.bullionbypost.co.uk/gold-coins/tenth-ounce-gold-coins/2018-tenth-ounce-gold-britannia/ £112 delivered.

https://www.atsbullion.com/fractional-gold-coins/tenth-ounce-britannia-gold-coin/ £111.45 delivered.

ATS Bullion look to be the cheapest in the UK thus far by a few pence, but they describe the 1/10 as being .916 finesse, whereas every other UK dealer refer to it as .999 finesse so not sure what's going on there.

NB: Just realised it is due to ATS 1/10's being mixed years hence the lower finesse

I'm going for 1 x 1/10 2018 Britannia each month to compliment my planned monthly silver orders. I'm also opting to saving a few months worth for larger gold coins as having the 1/10's will make them more liquid.

Good plan.   Have a look at 1/10 Somalia elephants they are beautiful coins and change every year

1/40oz britannia proof of mine on Ebay starting £50 - no bids yet.

Could be a good deal.

Streuth, I didn't know they made them that small! No good for me, I have trouble seeing the 1/20th oz ones;)

Happy days indeed, it is almost unbelievable to think that possible now.

In what space of time have these sovs been elevated to this collectable status?

2 young heads at £254, been on there all afternoon.

They all seem to have bumped up the premiums on young heads. Sharps Pixley the same, added about a tenner recently

In late 2014 and 2015, sovs were sovs at HGM.

It was pot luck but you were often surprised with a shield, YH, proof or a 'special' date and they were all the same price.

they were charging 10% I think for shields around early 2015 then it got bumped up to 15% I can't remember if it was in one jump.

Before they categorised all the various heads separately, YHs were still at bullion and shields were still 15%
