A quick hello -- I am an Aussie briefly visiting the UK.  Actually just after 1 coin as a gift for my daughter -- will be so happy to find one, perhaps on this forum.

What sort of coin do you want?

You could put up a wanted ad here as long as you have a postal address that can ship to, or you could go to one of the dealers in London and buy one - Gerrards, Sharps Pixley, Hatton Garden Metals or some such (there are several in the Hatton Garden area).  The latter might be easier if you're touristing.

Thanks @Darr3nG, we strictly only watch Crocodile Dundee while drinking a Fosters.

Thanks @LawrenceChard, I lol'd hard, not much else to say.  [On the other hand, each child also receives something small from the Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Coin Collection, and I hope they arrive before I fly in January!]. Love the website too and I am watching for my target coin to be potentially relisted there .

I appreciate it @James32, and the answer is "Yes", especially in my current home where the fire alarm is above the stove top.  Not sure how else I am supposed to cook.  Then again, I am just thankful I managed to figure out how to live with the dual hot and cold water taps -- no need to combine them after all!

Thanks @Orpster, it's the unicorn of @Darr3nG that I coincidentally missed by just a few hours -- but I will make a proper wanted post in UK Ungraded Buy/Sell/Trade once I am able to post threads there.

Thanks @Happypanda88, @trp -- you're a pleasant lot, not like my neighbour who got cross that I put a small amount of non-offensive rubbish into his near-empty bin yesterday, and before bin day.  Oops.

I appreciate it @Silverlocks, despite my heavy Googling last Sunday 2 of those websites were new to me, and I will keep them on my watchlist.

Thanks @daca, and my bingo card says quite a ride it will be -- don't mob me but I won't be surprised to see gold trade 10% lower from here over 12 months (in my preferred numeraire, USD).  Hopefully we can get through what I expect to be a decent crunch on all of us, and be good to each other in months ahead.
