1/4 Queens Beasts coin

Hi people

Whats the most you would pay right now for a 1/4 Queens Beast coin?

I know their hard to get hold of but I've been offered another one and I'm not sure how much premium I should be paying on this coin?

Did that many really get sent back because of issues or is there still a hell of a lot out there?

Why are they worth so much? Or are they?

If a proof version does get released will it make the original worth anymore or will the proof be the one to have?

Im asking you guys as I know your the real experts and I do value your opinions.

Cheers

£325, based on the fact I'll bet you a pound to a penny this was pulled due to a proof coming. Proof will be £400-450. Probably £425 like the Britannia. So £100 less for what has a fair chance of been a poorly struck one seems fair. Definitely worth above bullion.

Cheers i have a few already that I've been picking up just incase they will be worth something but some of the prices people are asking for these now has gone through the roof?

I saw one sell for £600 is this just madness

Right now you could probably get 4-500£, but IF the proof happens, bullion ones will drop back down to well below the proofs. There is no logic for them to be higher than a proof price.

Will be interesting to see proof volumes if they do one.

There will be a proof queens beast in December. No way to know yet if it will be a 1/4oz.

I sent 3 back due to quality issues and 4th was ok but clearly not perfect.

I don't think you are right on that. If they do a proof they will do say 1250 to 1500 but I think that the bullion ones could be less than

Hi,

Not sure I follow what you are saying? Bullion are less than what? A bullion 1/4 proof would be around £425 based on current pricing.

I was saying that bullion for this issue may be much rarer than proof

Why do you not see these for sale that

often? Are they rare or are people just holding onto them?

My understanding is that the mint will be producing the 1/4oz format for any of the future years.

I understand that they may be producing some other fractional denomination.

I may be wrong but I had heard that these coins did not sell well and also had extremely high return and rejection rates.

I believe they were only available from RM bullion and only sporadically during their very short life.

I think that shadow stack from YouTube bought up the last remaining supply a few weeks ago.

On the other hand - exercise caution as it is just as likely RMB will decide to produce some more...remember Libertad gold 2015 !!

Ok got you, although given the known quality issues with the bullion queens beasts, I think proofs will be far nicer.

Isnt Decemeber really odd, when the next release will be out 2017? I think its one of those rare times I would consider a set if they did fractional down to 1/10 say, would be really cool.

So royal mint are no longer minting the bullion version and have switched to proof? This is what kept me away from buying one after seeing how they went about it with their bullion 1/10oz lunars..

14 BU only

15 BU + Bullion

16 BU only

Its like they are just clicking buttons.. good luck on a 12 year set (Or whatever it is)
