This weekend in Perth we are having the Perth Money Expo. For the show the Perth mint has issued this 1oz silver Kookaburra coin with a privy mark celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Kookaburra square penny design. Minage is 2,000.

Bought all as gilded. Except the 1990 that I have sold since then.

Some are official versions but almost all the newer ones must be aftermarket. Very difficult and expensive though to track them all. 

Another 11 years and we are done! 😁

Some "conjoined" 1990 and 1991 kooks. I'm told originally these were sold from the mint in slabs of 10 coins.
