Is anybody else saving up for release of Perth's 2016 coins and hoping the spot price stays where it is (or lower)?

It's hard not to buy now.  I don't think I can hold out.

Na, wouldn't dream of buying Lunars at this low a price, makes them seem so cheap and nasty.

That is not a coin alright HH, neither is it cheap, and surely that's 1888 lucky owners as the mind boggles at the 1.888 mintage figure given. I suppose if a wedge is no problem you could buy it

and forget about it, hoping that one day there's a massive rush on monkey coins, other than that it's a bit of a beauty is in the eye of the beholder product.

8 is the lucky number for Chinese people, as it's supposedly lunar series may have something to do with this. I think the royal mint 1oz gold sheep has a mintage of 8888

I am planning to buy as many 1oz Lunar Monkeys i can rustle up enough money for from silver re-shuffle sales,in a one order from STG later in the year.

Sounds like a plan.Have to sit on my hands and stay away from the click and buy icon.

  • 3 weeks later...

Most pleased Perth Mint have applied the Gold Kangaroo design to the Silver Bullion range with the Silver 1 ounce .9999 version. You'll see the design on youtube from Perth Mint.

I'll be buying a tube of 20 a month as soon as Silver-to-Go can get them.
