GoldSilver.be 2x Storage costs to Ship?

I'm now done with GoldSilver as they are ignoring any correspondence from myself and basically have lost a customer after completion of my last order.

Which brings me to my question.... I have several orders all in storage with GS.be and I paid for the storage option on my very first order. Now on my final order it also wants me to pay for shipping a second time to 'STOP STORAGE & SHIP'. Is this normal? Or another scummy and opaque tactic of theirs?

Probably wisest not to publicly berate the company before they’ve shipped your items!

From memory, when using the storage option, you don’t pay shipping until you choose stop storing and ship.

Are you certain you paid shipping on the first order?

Had the same problem, mailed them, and they adjusted the last invoice and removed shipping costs (which were paid on the first order of storage)

....but no communication from them....just saw that they adjusted invoice after a couple of hours....and paid

As mentioned above I think this is a case of the system having changed. They used to charge shipping up front when you made the first order and put it into storage and they've now switched to only adding shipping at the end.

I fell into the same situation, sent a message through their system pointing this out, and they took the shipping off the invoice. Problem solved.
