Recommended Places to get Jewellery authenticated U.K/Hatton Garden

Hi guys and gals.

Recently purchased some 10k Gold jewellery. Want to get it authenticated and information on what the stones are.

Anywhere particular in Hatton Garden Recommended?

Don't need a full valuation and would prefer to have them looked at the same day rather than send it for a 2/3 day full valuation.

Thanks in advance.

I'd have thought any jewelry show would authenticate, it's in their best interest, if you going to be making a habit of buying metal I'd consider an acid test kit and a gem tester or at least a diamond tester..mind if it's 10k then your more likely looking at semis cos after all who de put top end gems in a 10k piece, when 18k is the choice for its extra shine.

Hatton Garden Metals are good, as are Baird and Co (just around the corner). They will XRF for free and there's no pressure to sell afterwards. If the jewelry has value over and above the gold then there are loads of jewelry and pawn shops in Hatton Garden that I'm sure will help, but if you are just looking for an XRF scan then I suggest Baird and Co first and HGM next
