Pinned Threads

Its only a minor gripe but the amount of pinned threads in each sub section is a little too much. 

Its starting to look messy IMO and the need to scroll down half the page to see new threads is a little irritating.

Hi @danmc82 , I completely understand.

Which sub forums were you referring to specifically? I can have a look and see if it is possible to merged any pinned topics into one, if relevant content. 

Some sections however, the pinned topics are very relevant and it isn't possible to reduce them further.

Id probably say General Precious Metals is the worst one. Although I can understand why as it's so generic.

It currently has 8 pinned threads + 1 that has now moved. Silver isnt far behind at 7. 

The rest arnt too bad tbh 🙂

Charity auction pin is temporary. I have just unpinned TSF 5oz round as that has sold, but will be some more TSF pins there soon 😬 Silver monitoring and silver deal topics are important and need to stay.

Coin definitions coin maybe be unpinned, perhaps need a new section specifically for those knew to precious metals with some useful information there. This needs to be thought about and looked into at a later date.

General Precious Metals

Something mega topic is only pinned temporarily, Today I received / Today I bought topics need to stay. TSF mug topic has been removed from pinned, TSF apparel can likely removed/relocated soon, need to think of where I can include a link to the store.  Group order link is useful and I think it should be pinned. Christmas pinned topic has been unpinned. Mintage list likely very useful, and bullion dealers pinned topic needs to stay.  

Trade section UK & Europe - I think some pinned topics there can be merged into less, will look at it later.

So a few that have been removed, hope that helps, and hopefully may be able to reduce it slightly more at some point. I understand it is a little annoying especially on mobile view unfortunately a lot of the pinned topics are needed, I had thought about having 1 pinned topic in the past and then minsk within that pinned topic, but this adds an extra level of clicking with becomes annoying for users.
