My instant reaction is mixed

First reaction was I like it but then looking at the details closer hmm I'm not sure

I will say the angle is something different and I appreciate that

There's a reverse proof mintage only 700.. I think I will get that

Have they done the BU silver version before. I don't remember seeing It? Mintage isn't bad at 3000 either

Yes, 2015-2018 it was the ‘plain fields’ Britannia. Basically the bullion design on a plain field.

2013 and 2014 I think there was an uncirculated version of the annual design and it reverted back to this in 2019.

Reminds me of Aslan 🙄

Technically, alcohol is a solution..

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

Yes, the 2019 plain fields mintage was 10,000...and it sold out completely. So this looks attractive.

I liked the 2019 design better. But this is not bad. I think what is of interest here is the 700 mintage reverse proof set (so it means there are 1,400 RP coins?). Costing £170, you can bet your bottom dollar they will fetch £300 and more on eBay soon.blockquote widget

They have again issued the daft sketches of the Britannia design with reference to 'fine gold'. Why would anyone buy a framed sketch of a fine gold coin with an actual silver coin in the frame?

I am not liking the design at all. I can see money to be made in the 700 mintage version, but otherwise....meh, indeed.

A.

There will be 350 reverse proof coins, the other one is the normal proof

Shame the CoinConnection doesn't seem to be stocking the reverse proof. Agree with other comments that it seems a good one to go for. After my Una experience though I think I'm done trying to get coins direct from the RM.

I looked for that on on the CC too ☹️
