Hi there, please help me understand why there is such a difference between these two coins?
I deeply believe that both coins are geniue
1 coin: 2017 1/10 Brit ( pawn shop )     Dimensions: 16.48 / thickness: 1.15
2 coin: 2018 1/10 Brit ( bullion dealer ) Dimensions: 16.37 / thickness: 1.11
My weight is inaccurate but it indicated both coins 3.15 gr
Please help and thank you for the answers 😕

I believe this is because these coins are bullion coins which are massively produced, so there will be some deviations and not all coins with the same measurements.

Most importantly is that you have genuine gold coins. And to be certain, it is better to have them tested out.

I went through an exercise on another thread not long ago of measuring a whole bunch of coins. The amount of deviation is crazy. I bet in the hand though you wouldn't tell a difference? First photo makes the difference look big, but judging on your measurements the two coins must not be aligned at the bottom as the difference is only a tenth of a millimeter. 

Very difficult to accurately measure coins. Just looking at the photo, you've not got them lined up at the same place on the callipers for example - it should be the bottom bit used for measuring. 

If they weigh the same I think you're probably fine. Have them checked if you're not sure.
