Praise where praise is due : Coin Connection

Here on the forum we are very quick to highlight dealer failings, and rightly so. On the other hand i think we should also highlight exceptional service and this is what I want to do.

Having purchased from many dealers abroad and in the UK the service received is generally pretty efficent if somewhat impersonal but you get what you need, job done. What happens if you need to get in touch for whatever reason? How good is the service then?

Anyway, I had reason to get in touch with Adele at Coin Connection and the whole service experience was exceptional, so much do I wanted to put it out on the forum. Query dealt with, to my satisfaction, we ended up having a 30 minute conversation, talking coins and putting the world to rights, The passion that is there reflects in the quality of the product, so much so i found out they hold a record for the number of rejects for coins not being up to specification which made me laugh.

I'm in no way affiliated with CC, just a normal punter whose received brilliant service, that I wanted to highlight. 😁

In addition to what has been said, I think everyone outside of the UK should buy from the Coin Connection!  It's the worst getting a damaged coin, or crushed box, from the Royal Mint and needing to deal with customs forms for a return.  @TheCoinConnection makes sure this never happens.
